Seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Procurement Category Manager with a proven track record in managing large, complex projects within multinational corporations. Responsibilities
â–ª Manage end to end procurement process of indirect procurement categories including technology, operations, marketing, processing, acquiring and general services, from requisition to delivery stage including supporting payment processing through the accounts payable team
â–ª Generate cost savings and value-add through proactive the management of procurement activities, while working closely with stakeholders and suppliers.
â–ª Support standardization and sharing of best practice across the group entities.
â–ª Identify and deliver procurement savings through strategic initiatives, optimization, negotiations and identifying alternative suppliers.
â–ª Category Management experience
▪ Supplier Management – performance evaluation and management; supporting supplier risk management.
â–ª Manage supplier Due Diligence including financial due diligence and the supplier on-boarding process.
â–ª Drive improvement in procurement processes across the group through standardization, supplier catalogues, preferred suppliers and automation, with the objective of reducing processing times without compromising on internal controls.
â–ª Ensure governance with group policies and Delegation of Authority
â–ª Participate in annual budgets and forecasting process for optimization of cost base year on year as per objectives laid down by the leadership team.
â–ª Input into Procurement Tracker and Reporting of KPIs capturing processing times, Procurement savings etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with 3-4 years prior experience in a procurement role
MCIPS qualified or working towards Skills Required to Perform the job successfully: Job-Specific Skills:
Significant experience in operational procurement, strategic sourcing
Supplier Relationship Management experience is a plus.
Experience in spend analysis and highlighting and driving optimization initiatives
Excellent working knowledge of Oracle ERP, especially in areas of procure to pay
Experience in the financial services sector or IT sector
