A leading Chemicals company is looking for a Procurement Manager – Explosives to be based at their offices in Johannesburg.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the procurement function for a section of the organisation.
This includes developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in a compliant and ethical manner.
KPI’s :
Develop and implement procurement strategies
Manage supplier relationships
Negotiate contracts
Ensure compliance and ethical conduct in procurement activities
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply Master’s degree or CIPS Level 6 in Procurement and Supply is advantageous
Minimum 6-8 years in procurement related roles with management experience
Understanding of Chemical industries
