Are you a strategic thinker with a technical engineering background and a passion for optimizing supply chains and driving value? Our client, a well-established multi-national Oil and Gas company with over two decades of experience in the sector, is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and evolve their procurement function at their Durban office.
As the Procurement Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and lead a dedicated team of five procurement professionals. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement operations, implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing across the organization.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Engineering background (Advantageous)
MBA advantageous
7 – 10 years hands on procurement experience with 5 years in management role
CIPS level 6 or (MCIPS)
Salary: R1 400 000 to R1 600 000 (Includes Medical and Provident Fund, Excludes Performance Bonus)

Duties and Responsibilities:
S&P Effectiveness Assessment, divisional and global Roadmap, develop and execute the S&P department.
Request and Perform spend analyses, contract analyses, categories reviews, process improvement analyses and define initiatives to be included in the annual terminal procurement plan and budget cycle.
Based on key categories of procurement plan, develop and execute a project strategy and category strategy.
Ensures effective governance & inventory management processes within stores
Lead effective Tender Board processes within a Global and local BU frameworks
