MAHLE Behr South Africa, at our Durban Plant, has a vacancy for a Process Optimisation Manager.
Your Role & Responsibilities
The main duties of this position will include:
Leadership, facilitation and/or project management of
optimisation projects/activities, predominantly but not exclusively, in the supply chain domain.
Application of data analysis and business intelligence tools for advanced data analytics, and/or benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement, derive insights and implement improvements within supply chain processes
Drive CIP and optimisation in logistics:
Initiation, oversight, support, prioritisation and tracking of logistics optimisation/CIP portfolio.
Training, coaching, facilitation and supporting project teams in the application of problem solving and continuous improvement tools, e.g. A3, LMC, Kaizen.
VSD Coach for plant Durban, incl. oversight of annual VSD program.
Review, support and/or implementation of MPS/CIP lean standards/tools in logistics
Manage and support Launch Logistics function.
Support Production Planning Function – constraint management
Drive and support Industry 4.0 and automation efforts in Plant Durban, with focus on business processes in supply chain.
Minimum Requirement
Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Industrial preferred)
Project management or Six Sigma advantageous
Preferred Requirement
Advanced data analysis and BI tools
Lean Manufacturing, A3 Problem solving
