Requirements
BEng/BSc Degree in one of the following disciplines:
Electronic Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Metallurgical Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Strong analytical mindset and systems-thinking approach
Programming skills or interest in automation, modeling, and simulation
Openness to learning new technologies and working in multidisciplinary teams
Preferred (but not required):
Experience with control systems, process simulation software, or digital transformation tools
Exposure to AI/ML, data science, or industrial automation
Previous work within steel, chemicals, or heavy manufacturing environments
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with process and technology specialists to evaluate and improve metallurgical processes
Develop, implement, and optimize mathematical process models and applications
Source new technologies and integrate models from global R&D
Design and deploy in-house software tools and systems
Ensure model accuracy and performance in real-time production environments
Innovate and lead the use of AI/ML, digital twins, and data analytics in steel making
