Private Fund Expert Jobs in Cape Town, South Africa at Symbiotics
The job will consist of following tasks :
Perform market research and sector analysis.
Identify and screen prospective private equity and private debt funds investment opportunities.
Perform full due diligence on new private equity and private debt fund investment opportunities.
Draft and coordinate investment documents preparation (Deal Teasers, DD report, Investment Memorandum, investment legal documentation) to be validated by the Head of Third
-Party Origination.
Collaborate in the presentation of investment opportunities to clients.
Cater for post investment portfolio monitoring and reporting.
Your Qualification
Requirements
More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies :
University degree or equivalent, preferably in a finance related field.
Minimum 5 years of work experience.
Minimum 1 year of work experience in private debt and private equity industry, including due diligence experience.
Strong financial and fund analysis skills.
Good understanding of private debt and equity environment and trends.
Network within the industry.
Familiar with impact and ESG investment is a plus.
Highly motivated, well-organized with a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity;
Ability to work independently.
Ability to follow established processes and work with deadlines.
Willingness to travel (up to 10%).
Full English proficiency;
French, Spanish, Russian, or other language a plus.
Valid Work Permit for South Africa.
