We are seeking a dependable Press Room Set-Up / Operator to prepare, operate, and monitor manufacturing presses and related equipment. This role is responsible for setting up production runs, ensuring products meet quality standards, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and meeting production goals.
Responsibilities
- Set up specific dies and die sets into various presses according to the traveler.
- Load and unload materials into the press machine safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine specifications and requirements.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met and adjust as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on press machine to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all Fab Form safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience as Brake set up /operator preferred.
- Previous experience operating or setting up presses in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to accurately measure and calculate dimensions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a quality-oriented mindset
