An opportunity exists for a Religious Education Teacher to join the St Peter’s Prep Schools as soon as possible
Duties (not an exhaustive list):
Teach the Religious Curriculum to Grades 3 – 7 boys and girls
Lead chapel services when required across all grades
Manage and train altar servers
Promotion of the St Peter’s Prep Schools attributes and values
Teach according to the St Peter’s Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy
Required Qualifications and Experience
Relevant Teaching Qualification
At least 3 years’ full-time experience in teaching
SACE Registration
Sound Biblical Knowledge

Attention to detail, with a methodical approach to work
Good classroom management skills
An energetic and inspirational approach to learning and motivation
A values-based approach to teaching
The intention to work according to the school’s ethos, specifications and policies
A willingness to support and mentor, and to be mentored
The flexibility, ability, and willingness to work outside school hours, when necessary
A commitment to ongoing personal development, while fostering the love for a Christ-centered life
