Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual (French & English) Pre-Sales Engineer with a strong background in cybersecurity to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in engaging with clients, identifying security gaps, designing customized solutions, and supporting the sales team with your technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and hold certifications from leading security OEMs.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery Calls & Consultative Engagements:Participate in discovery calls with potential clients to assess their security posture, identify vulnerabilities, and provide strategic recommendations.
Solution Design & Architecture:Develop and present tailored cybersecurity solutions that align with client needs, leveraging our partnerships with leading vendors.
Technical Expertise & Certifications:Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and hold relevant certifications.
Proposal & Documentation:Assist in preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution architecture documents.
Client Demos & Proof of Concept (PoC):Conduct product demonstrations, PoCs, and technical workshops for prospects and existing clients.
Sales Support & Enablement:Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive the adoption of cybersecurity solutions and support deal closures.
OEM Engagement:Build and maintain relationships with key cybersecurity vendors, staying informed about new product developments.
Training & Enablement:Educate clients and internal teams on emerging cybersecurity threats and solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales, technical consulting, or solution architecture.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and security solutions.
Certifications from major cybersecurity OEMs (e.g., Digi Cert, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, Tenable, Hive Pro, CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.).
Ability to analyze client security postures, identify gaps, and recommend effective solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
Experience conducting security PoCs, demos, and workshops.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience working with enterprises and financial institutions across Africa.
Knowledge of PKI, SSL/TLS certificate management, vulnerability management, SOC, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex cybersecurity challenges.
Familiarity with GRC frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
