Carter Pre-Owned Sales Consultant – Suzuki Rosebank
Carter is looking for a Floor Salesperson to join our dynamic Pre-owned sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity with growth potential. The role will be based at our Suzuki Rosebank dealership.

The role is suited for a self-motivated, detailed-oriented individual that has good interpersonal skills and has the desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
General:
Based on showroom floor.
Greet customers arriving at the dealership and understanding their needs.
Showcase the dealership’s vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers.
Answer customer questions about cars and sales process.
Accompany customers on test drives, collecting licenses and documentation beforehand per best practices.
Utilizing Carter CRM system effectively to perform their role in line with company operating procedures.
·Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers’ vehicles.
Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customer’s financing and insurance needs.
Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles.
Canvasing for new business.
Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets.
Assisting with the setup of showroom and promotional displays.
Provide exceptional customers service while being the single point of contact for customers.
Ensure that OEM requirements are achieved.
This is a full-time role. The role will require 5 ½ days per week commitment, as we will serve customers on weekends.
The role will require you to be physically present at the dealership during operating hours.
Interviews will be held in person in Rosebank. Only South Africans or individuals with an existing valid South African work permit need apply.
Minimum Requirements
Min two (2) years motor vehicle sales experience. (contactable references and 3 months commission sheets/payslips to support a sales record of 8 units or more per month) Previous experience in used vehicle sales will be considered an advantage.
Candidates must have a Matric Certificate.
Candidates must have a strong sales performance backing.
Strong interpersonal skills and EQ is required.
Great interpersonal and communication skills will be beneficial.
Clear Criminal Record.
Clear Credit Record.
Drivers License.
Desirable Skills
Maintaining good knowledge of the vehicles on sale.
Energetic individual with a passion for sales who is able to operate in a team.
Driven to achieve volume, gross profit and customer satisfaction targets as set by the dealership.
Activity driven and sales prospecting.
Customer relationship management is a key factor, as is networking ability.
Good admin and computer skills.
Salary
Basic & Commission in line with experience and qualifications.
