We are looking for a skilled Power Query Developer to join our team and contribute to excellence in data-driven decision-making, with a primary focus on Power Query in Excel.
PLEASE NOTE:
Working Hours:This role requires you to workEST hoursMon – Fri from 9am to 6pmEST(15h00 to 24h00 South African time – subject to change dependant on daylight savings)
Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
Work Environment:This is a remote role for South African Citizens only.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize advanced Power Query solutions using custom M Language, primarily within Excel.
Design and implement KPI dashboards with a focus on automation and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions in Excel.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards
Requirements
Extensive experience with Power Query and custom M Language development, with a strong focus on Excel.
Strong background in KPI dashboard design, development, and automation, especially within Excel.
Proficiency in DAX and experience with Power BI is an added benefit
Advanced proficiency in Excel, with extensive use of Power Query.
Strong Design Experience will be advantageous.

Highly organized and detail-oriented – Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus and quality.
Strong time management skills – Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
