Role Description The Postdoctoral Researcher in Entrepreneurship will conduct independent and collaborative research on entrepreneurship-related topics aligned with the university’s strategic focus areas. The role involves designing and executing research projects, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and preparing high-quality manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals. The researcher will contribute to grant proposals, present findings at academic conferences, and support curriculum development and teaching activities in entrepreneurship where relevant. The position also includes mentoring postgraduate students, engaging with industry partners, and supporting outreach and innovation initiatives that promote entrepreneurial activity. This is a full-time onsite role, requiring regular collaboration with supervisors, faculty, and research teams.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background and research skills: A completed PhD in Entrepreneurship, Management, Business Studies, Innovation, or a closely related field; strong foundation in entrepreneurship theory and practice; experience designing and conducting empirical research.
- Analytical and methodological competencies: Proficiency in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods; ability to use statistical or data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R, NVivo); strong skills in research design, data collection, and interpretation.
- Scholarly writing and communication: Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality academic writing; experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare reports, grant applications, and conference presentations.
- Teaching, supervision, and collaboration: Experience supporting teaching or workshops in entrepreneurship or related fields; capacity to mentor postgraduate students; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and engage constructively in remote academic environments.
