*POLICE OFFICER TEST NOTICE*
Test Dates: October 2nd & 3rd in Milford, Iowa
Application deadline: September 18th @ 4:00pm
Lakes Area Law Enforcement Employment Co-op is establishing an eligibility list for current and future law enforcement openings in the beautiful Iowa Great Lakes Area! Agencies with current openings: Arnold’s Park, Lake Park, Estherville
Additional agencies in the co-op include: Emmetsburg, Milford, Okoboji, Spencer, Spirit Lake Police Departments; Palo Alto, Osceola, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Offices.
Successful applicants are eligible for employment by all agencies!
Special Duty Training Opportunities: Drug task force, SART, Tactical team, K-9, Drone ops, Traffic enforcement, Investigations, School Resource Officer, Instructor: Firearms, Def. Tactics, TASER, EVOC, SFST.
At the time of application, candidates must meet State Requirements for Law Enforcement Employment.
Currently certified ILEA applicants are allowed lateral transfer. *Some departments are civil service positions.
Applicants without certification are required to pass P.O.S.T. & physical agility exams.
