Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance.
- Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves and fixtures.
- Diagnose faults and restore systems to working order.
- Follow all SHEQ and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate job cards and daily work orders.
- Communicate clearly with clients and the team.
- Use tools and materials safely and responsibly.
- Perform reasonable additional tasks as requested.
Skills and Competencies
- Plumbing installation, repairs and maintenance.
- Pipefitting, soldering and basic welding.
- Reading drawings and using diagnostic tools.
- Strong fault-finding ability.
- Works well with others and communicates respectfully.
- Reliable, punctual and follows procedures.
- Calm under pressure and adapts to changing needs.
- Delivers quality work and meets daily targets
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or N3.
- Completed plumbing trade test.
- Minimum three years’ plumbing maintenance experience.
- Ability to work independently and solve technical problems.
