Qualifications:
Trade Tested Millwright or Fitter and Turner
N3 Technical qualification in Electrical or Mechanical
Fitting and Turning
Min 2 years post Trade Test
Code 10 (or higher) driver’s license
Additional Qualifications:
ORHVS qualification
ORHVS approval from Eskom
Fire training
Safety training
Working on heights
Scaffolding erection
Blasting training
Weekend duty training
First aid level 2
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Health and Safety on factory premises
Ensuring OSH documentation is up to date
Conducting weekly/monthly safety talks
Ensuring staff complies with PPE regulations
Monthly safety inspection
Daily equipment inspection
Equipment assessments
Construction of Brilliant Blaster
Ensure all equipment is maintained and standards are kept up to date
Ensure production process is efficient
Quality control
Assist with planning of project
Ensure project timelines are met
Daily feedback on tasks
Ensure breakdown job cards are completed
Completing preventative maintenance job cards
Develop and monitor 5S system
