We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our culinary team. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will contribute to creating delicious meals and ensuring a high standard of food safety and quality. Duties
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and station requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food output.
- Rotate inventory as necessary.
- Ensure station is clean, organized and prepped for service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
Skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong understanding of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food service industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Excellent knife skills for efficient food preparation.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen.
