We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, while providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Key Responsibilities: – Perform venepuncture and capillary punctures on patients of all ages – Collect and label blood samples accurately and efficiently – Follow established procedures for handling and processing blood samples – Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control protocols – Interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a professional and courteous manner – Address patient concerns and provide reassurance as needed – Maintain accurate records and documentation – Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities – Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices Requirements: – High school diploma or equivalent – Completion of a phlebotomy training program – Certification as a Phlebotomist/Enrolled Nurse/Registered Nurse – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment – Strong attention to detail and accuracy – Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
