3 PHASE INSTALLATION ELECTRICIAN (CAPE TOWN)
Introduction And Role Context
SFI Group (Pty) Ltd, a national air-conditioning and maintenance company seeks to employ an experienced, 3 Phase Installation Electrician, who will be responsible for performing highly skilled electrical maintenance, installation, repairs and troubleshooting work involved within the heating, refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation scope. Work involves the technical application of electrical principles and optimising the life cycle costs of electrical facilities and equipment.
Duties
/Responsibilities
Installation of air-conditioning equipment, power supplies and control circuits.
Completing administrative tasks.
Fault finding and replacement of electrical components no longer working, inspection, measuring, testing and/or replacing of thermocouples, heating elements, transducers, wiring of 3 phase motors etc.
Maintenance of DB boards, electrical control panels and chiller plant rooms.
Performing work in compliance with organisational standards, legislative requirements and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
Required Qualification and Experience
Minimum 3 – 5 years industry/service experience in related field.
Minor mechanical work.
Must be able to issue Certificate of Conformance.
Valid Wireman’s License Certificate.
SANS 10142-1 Code of Practice Certificate.
Registered with Department of Labour (DoL) as Installation Electrician (380 Volts) (applicants in the process of registration will also be considered).
Valid Drivers License.
