Are you an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional with established relationships across independent and corporate pharmacies?
Austell Pharmaceuticals is looking for a commercially driven Pharmacy Sales Representative who understands the Western Cape pharmacy market and can use strong customer relationships to grow sales, expand market presence and strengthen brand loyalty.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute an effective territory sales plan
• Call on independent and corporate pharmacies across the territory
• Build and maintain relationships with pharmacists and key decision-makers
• Present and promote Austell’s pharmaceutical product portfolio
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets
• Support product availability, stock management and order generation
• Conduct product presentations and training for pharmacy teams
• Gather relevant market and industry insights
• Maintain accurate customer records and submit sales activity reports
• Collaborate with internal teams on promotions, product launches and market-development initiatives
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven pharmaceutical or pharmacy sales experience
• Established relationships with independent and corporate pharmacies in the Southern Suburbs and Garden Route
• Strong knowledge of the pharmacy environment and pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow a territory
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Excellent planning, organisation and time-management abilities
• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
