Personal Assistant for the Operations Director
Overview
We are looking to place an experienced Personal Assistant to provide support to our Operations Director. If you are passionate about administration, efficient and meticulous to detail this role is for you.
Job description
Administrative support.
Contract Administration
· Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a PA/EA.
· Minimum Certificate/ Diploma in Business Admin or related field
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Fluent in Afrikaans and English. (Read/Write/Comprehension)
· Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
· Highly organized office administration skills.
· Ability to work independently with attention.
· Available after hours for any urgent matters.
Preferred candidate qualities:
· Perceptive, extremely sharp, confident and not afraid to take initiative.
· Able to execute tasks independently as the Ops Director will be out on the road daily doing site visits.
· Able to think on their feet, be highly organized and quick to understand the various stakeholders.
· Comfortable and confident to ask the relevant questions to ensure that you understand the expectations, have the right information as well as resources to execute tasks effectively.
· Operate at a high level and accuracy when dealing with administrative tasks.
· Ability to proactively manage projects and willingness to pitch in as needed.
· Ability to creatively solve problems and make informed decisions.
· Flexible and adapts to change.
· Ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet deadlines in a changing environment.
