This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days based in our Johannsburg office, and 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities
What will you be doing:
We’re looking for a Data Architect to play a key role in shaping our data strategy and ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our data systems. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into effective data and BI solutions. In this role, you’ll design and maintain a central data platform, drive data standardization, and streamline integrations while ensuring governance aligns with business needs. You’ll define and enforce policies for data development, management, and security, ensuring high-quality, well-governed data across all systems. Acting as a key advocate for data and BI, you’ll provide guidance on internal and external data sources, delivering valuable insights to the organization. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining data architecture, optimizing storage and retrieval, and staying up to date with emerging technologies and best practices. What are we looking for:
We are looking for significant experience in cloud-based HR systems. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications through functional, integration, and regression testing. With a strong understanding of relevant programming languages, databases, and testing tools, you’ll analyze system issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Your attention to detail and accuracy will ensure thorough testing and documentation. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll collaborate with technical teams and translate complex information for non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability is key, as you’ll manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools is required, along with a proactive approach to improving system performance.
