MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To manage relevant remuneration and payroll systems and processes for Mediclinic Southern Africa (MCSA).
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Manage the payroll system processes for MCSA
Manage relevant remuneration processes for MCSA
Accept ownership and manage the Success Factors System
Coordinate relevant tax administration processes
Manage and control department budgets / finances
Initiate and manage relevant departmental projects
Lead and manage the people in the Payroll Operations Team
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential Education
Bachelors degree in relevant field (Financial / Commerce)
Desired Education
Post-graduate degree in financial field
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential Minimum Experience
7 – 10 years experience in a similar role; at least 5 years managerial experience
Desired Experience
Expierence in a payroll environment, within a large compliment of staff
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Understanding of the full monthly payroll process
Understanding of HR Finance and relevant HR systems
Knowledge of statutory and non-statutory payroll legislation
Computer literacy:
Excel
Understanding of remuneration and employee benefits administration
Payroll systems administration and Success Factors system knowledge
Payroll governance, audit and risk management principles
Financial reconciliation and payroll control principles
Project management and continuous improvement capability
Leadership and people management capability
Stakeholder relationship management and communication skills
Knowledge of POPIA and payroll data confidentiality requirements
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
