Pastry Chef de Partie Jobs in South Africa at Nederburg Wines

This is a contract role for a Pastry Chef de Partie, based on-site in Paarl. The Pastry Chef will be reponsible for the daily preparation and baking of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. Responsibilities include helping with food preparation in all sections, maintaining cleanliness, following recipes, costings, SOP’s and ensuring high-quality standards in all baking activities.

Qualifications

Skills in Bakery, Baking, and Pastry preparation
Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking techniques
Function catering, conferences, weddings, events
Culinary Skills relevant to creating diverse and high-quality baked goods
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Formal culinary training or certification
Matric certificate
Must live locally
South African citizen

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: R1 500,00 – R2 500,00 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Nederburg, Western Cape 7645: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
