Parts Sales / Customer Representative (Outside) — H.A. DeHart & Son
Location: Thorofare, NJ (with travel to customer sites across NJ) Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for a Parts Sales / Customer Representative who is comfortable picking up the phone and face to face interactions. You’ll be the person customers trust to get them the parts they need — whether they’re standing at our Thorofare location or you’re meeting them out in the field. This position will be the lead in direct interactions with customers to help grow customer relations and sales.
What you’ll do
- Travel to customer sites, municipal yards, and fleet garages to build relationships and win repeat business
- Partner with our service and sales teams to solve problems and spot new opportunities
- Customer visiting will be held within normal business hours in company vehicle
- Look up, quote, and source the correct parts using catalogs, VINs, and manufacturer systems
Process orders, follow up on backorders, and keep customers informed start to finish
- Serve walk-in, phone, and email customers, looking for parts, when in office
- Help maintain accurate inventory
What we’re looking for
- Strong customer service instincts and a genuine “let me take care of that for you” attitude
- Comfortable using computers, parts lookup systems, and phones/email throughout the day
- Organized, dependable, and able to juggle counter traffic and follow-ups
- Valid NJ driver’s license and a clean driving record (this role includes regular travel)
- Able to lift/move parts as needed (75 pounds)

Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
