Parts Department/Service Technician Jobs in Hastings, MI at Mensch Manufacturing, LLC
Responsibilities Include:
· Take technical support phone calls
o Assist with trouble shooting issues as needed
o Find key information and provide to customer as needed
o Communicate potential design issues with Engineering
o Communicate potential manufacturing issues with Manufacturing
· Take parts order phone calls
o Enter orders into the system to generate pick tickets
o Pull and package parts orders as needed
· Take warranty related phone calls
o Provide analysis of warranty parts returned from field
o Enter credit memo’s as needed
· Work very closely with Parts, Sales, Service, Warranty, Technical Writing and Engineering
· Work with Technical Writing in creating installation instructions for parts and components
This individual will have experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Have strong communication skills with the ability to stay calm during tense conversations. They will be very good at problem solving, and finding resources to find answers for customers. They will follow-up with customers as needed. Have a willingness to learn about and understand all Mensch products both old and current. Learn about product updates and when to offer to customers. Have the ability to read and understand Owner’s Operator and Parts Manuals, along with finding appropriate resource information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.59 – $40.00 per hour
