We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Parts Department Manager to lead our parts operations with energy and precision. In this role, you will oversee the entire parts department, ensuring efficient inventory management, supplier relations, and customer service excellence. Duties
- Lead and manage the parts department team to deliver exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control, warehouse management, and parts administration using inventory management systems and ERP platforms such as AS400 or similar.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing OEM parts, negotiating pricing with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality parts.
- Implement demand planning strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and meet customer needs effectively.
- Manage logistics operations related to shipping, receiving, and distribution of automotive parts and accessories while utilizing logistics inventory management tools.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge and mechanical expertise to assist in parts sourcing for complex vehicle systems and equipment repair.
- Maintain accurate data entry for all parts transactions, order management system updates, and internal communication channels.
- Develop strategies for procurement management that align with manufacturing schedules, auto body repair requirements, and equipment maintenance needs.
- Monitor pricing structures regularly to ensure competitive positioning while maximizing profitability.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams such as sales, service departments, and external suppliers to enhance sourcing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Work with CSR team grow proactive outreach.
Skills
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, procurement management, and logistics inventory control.
- Proven supplier management experience with negotiation skills that secure favorable terms.
- Strong diagnostics skills coupled with parts and accessories knowledge in auto and or heavy machinery.
- Proficiency in warehouse management.
- Familiarity with, OEM parts sourcing, and equipment repair procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) applications for maintenance scheduling.
- Excellent data entry skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of machine systems to support parts sourcing decisions effectively.
- Strong internal communication skills to coordinate across departments seamlessly while maintaining high levels of customer service standards.
- Experience in crushing and screening is a bonus.

Pay: $54,824.05 – $78,000.00 per year
