Parts Controller
Location: Goodwood
Minimum requirements
Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Code B driver’s licence.
At least 3 – 5 year’s working experience as a parts controller.
Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry.
The ability to distinguish between various vehicle parts (Body parts, electronics, mechanical and suspension).
High level of computer literacy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Previous experience working on TMS would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Efficiently manage the ordering of parts, tools, and consumables.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Update team on parts availability and arrival times.
Receive/dispatch parts and ensure parts received correspond with invoices.
Loading of parts on TMS software.
Store parts in an organised manner and ensure the stores are kept neat.
Ensure the stores department complies with health and safety standards.
