Duties
- Manage inventory control by accurately receiving, stocking, and organizing automotive parts and accessories using inventory management systems.
- Source parts efficiently through procurement management, part sourcing, and negotiation to meet customer needs and optimize supply chain flow.
- Assist with parts administration tasks such as data entry, order processing, pricing updates, and maintaining detailed records within ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics and support automotive service operations to ensure proper part installation and vehicle repair processes.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to handle shipping & receiving activities, warehouse management, and logistics inventory management.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage supplier relationships, track deliveries, and resolve sourcing or procurement issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by advising on automotive parts, answering inquiries, and supporting internal communication channels for smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories management along with mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems.
- Experience in supply chain management, procurement management, demand planning, and logistics inventory management.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, order management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, parts sourcing strategies, pricing negotiations, and internal communication protocols.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with attention to detail for accurate parts administration.
- Knowledge of auto body repair processes, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts sourcing, HVAC systems related to automotive environments, and auto diagnostics enhances effectiveness in this role.
