Full Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Partner Technical Specialist (PTS) works with different cloud solutions, supporting resellers and our internal teams with technical assistance and technical thought leadership. The role encompasses enablement and growth of cloud and cyber security partners as well as the scoping, deployment and high-level support for solutions to our partners and their customers. The successful applicant will work hand in hand with our vendors (like Microsoft, Google, etc) and Cloudmania’s internal stakeholders to drive the technical aspects around sales of all offered services. The incumbent will be an expert, assisting partners to retain their customers, identify upselling opportunities and advising them on the best options available for their customers. The role will focus on the acquisition and presales engagement of cloud customers. The successful applicants will work hand in hand with cloud vendors and Liquid Intelligent Technologies’ Business Group Leads and Partner Development Managers to drive workload adoption. The incumbent will be an expert for the workload assisting partners to retain their customers, identify upselling and new opportunities and advising them on the best options available for their customers.
This role will specifically focus on Google Workspace and Google Cloud.
Key tasks and requirements of this role:
1. Engage and manage partner activities: Regularly engage with partners and their respective end-customers to ensure they are leveraging cloud products effectively and finding value in the workloads
2. Technical knowledge and customer insights: Apply deep technical knowledge and customer insights to support partners in creating a modernization roadmap for end-customers
3. Orchestrate activities: Coordinate activities across cloud solutions and partner resources to maximize business results and customer success
4. Convert cloud workload roadmaps: Translate cloud workload roadmaps into suitable strategies for the assigned partner’s customer accounts
5. Share customer insights: Provide customer insights that inform additional product and service sales opportunities
6. Hold regular meetings: Conduct regular meetings with partners to manage customer and partner activity, risks, and growth opportunities
7. Technical and sales experience: Have technical and sales experience with multi-cloud solutions
8. Applicable Cloud Certifications: Possess suitable multi-vendor cloud certifications
9. Communication and Presentation skills: Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skill
Qualifications Required:
– MS-900 / AZ-900 / SC-900 / AI-900 – Desirable
– Google Cloud: Digital Leader – Essential
– Google Cloud: Associate Cloud Engineer – Essential
– Google Cloud: Professional Cloud Architect – Essential
– AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner – Desirable
– AWS Certified AI Practitioner – Desirable
– Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field and experience in partner engagement in the technology industry or related experience – Desirable
Experience Required:
Experience in Cloud Presales (1 – 3 Years) – Essential
Software/ICT marketing experience (cloud preferred) (1 – 3 Years) – Essential
