Job Description

This is a remote position.

Circle Tel is a fast-growing startup serving the South African SMME market with affordable, resilient connectivity and IT solutions. We are seeking an ambitious, early mid-career Partner & Sales Manager to help us build and manage sales channels, develop strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth in our startup phase. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone eager to grow with the business and take on increasing responsibility as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Development & Management

Assist in identifying and onboarding new reseller and referral partners (e.g., accounting firms, business consultants, industry associations).

Support the development and rollout of partner programs and incentive schemes.

Maintain partner relationships and provide regular updates and support.

Sales Execution

Generate leads and close deals to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets aligned with Circle Tel’s growth plans and budget (R6.5m turnover target for FY26)123.

Promote bundled, sector-specific solutions to SMME clients.

Track sales pipeline and assist with reporting on sales activities.

Strategic Partnerships

Contribute to building alliances with technology vendors and industry groups.

Support co-marketing campaigns and joint customer acquisition initiatives.

Team Support

Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to execute go-to-market campaigns.

Participate in sales training and enablement activities.

Market Research

Gather market intelligence and feedback from partners and customers to help refine our offerings and go-to-market approach

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or relevant experience).

2–4 years’ experience in sales, channel/partner management, or business development (ICT/tech sector preferred but not required).

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Self-starter, adaptable, and comfortable working in a startup environment.

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Passion for technology and supporting small businesses is a plus.

Benefits

Base Salary: R300,000 – R400,000 per annum (market-related for entry to early mid-career, reflecting startup phase)123.
