POSITION INFO:
Our client, a respected and growing wealth and financial advisory firm, is looking for a Paraplanner to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys being the analytical backbone that supports advisors in delivering tailored financial solutions to clients.
You will work closely with Financial Advisors to prepare financial plans, conduct research, analyse client portfolios, and ensure all recommendations align with regulatory and compliance standards. The role offers exposure to a wide range of wealth management strategies including investments, retirement planning, and risk planning, providing an excellent platform for professional development within the financial planning space.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop comprehensive financial plans and reports for clients.
- Conduct research and analysis on investment products and financial planning strategies.
- Assist Financial Advisors with portfolio analysis, projections, and client recommendations.
- Prepare client review documentation and investment performance reports.
- Ensure all documentation meets compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Support advisors with administrative and technical aspects of financial planning processes.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Investment Management, or related field
- CFP®, NQF Level 5 or 6 in Financial Planning / Wealth Management will be advantageous
Experience:
- 2 – 5 years’ experience in a Paraplanning or Financial Planning support role
- Experience within wealth management, financial advisory, or investment environments
- Exposure to financial planning software and investment platforms
Skills:
- Strong analytical and financial planning skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial planning tools
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
