Paid Advertising Campaign Specialist

At PFDM, this role is about more than launching ads and making surface-level updates. We want someone who can think clearly, spot opportunities, catch issues early, and make thoughtful changes that improve performance. You will help bring campaigns to life, optimize them over time, support reporting, and contribute insights that help the team make better decisions for clients.

Application Questions

  1. You inherit a Google Ads account that has been running for six months with consistent spend but flat performance. What are the first three things you would look at, and why?
  2. A client-facing teammate notices that conversions reported in Meta Ads do not match what they see in Google Analytics. How would you diagnose and work through that discrepancy?
  3. In your opinion, what are the 3 most important aspects of a successful video campaign on paid social platforms like Meta or TikTok?
  4. Tell us about a campaign or account you helped improve. What was happening before, what changes did you make, and what was the result?

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and manage paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant platforms as needed
  • Monitor campaign performance and make thoughtful, data-informed optimizations
  • Support pacing, budget allocation, and account health across multiple client accounts
  • Help maintain clean tracking and measurement through Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and platform-side conversion setup
  • Analyze campaign data and turn it into useful recommendations and next steps
  • Collaborate with strategists, creatives, and client-facing teammates to improve messaging, targeting, offers, and overall campaign direction
  • Maintain organized reporting notes, documentation, and updates inside the team’s systems, including Google Suite and Asana
  • Take ownership of campaign work in internal discussions and, when needed, contribute to client-facing performance conversations
  • Be open to discovering and testing new platforms.

Qualifications

Required capabilities

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, especially Search and Video
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for tracking, reporting, and conversion setup
  • Ability to manage and improve campaigns across a range of budgets
  • Comfort working inside Google Sheets, Docs, and project management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and a clear, practical communication style

Preferred experience

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on paid media experience, ideally in an agency environment
  • Ad copywriting experience, especially direct response
  • Familiarity with creative testing and performance feedback loops
  • Light design or video-editing awareness
  • Interest in using AI tools to improve workflow, reporting, or testing efficiency
