Job Title: Outbound Sales Development Representative

Job Description: As a Sales Development Representative at Sage, you will be responsible for identifying and obtaining new businesses that could be our future customers, mostly focused on our medium segment platforms.

Every day you will be heavily focused on prospecting, outbound calling to prospective clients while also following up on marketing campaign generated leads.

By excelling in this role you will ensure that as part of a larger team, our sales colleagues have a healthy sales pipeline, thus contributing directly to growing our revenue as a business.

This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week on-site at our Johannesburg office.

Key Responsibilities:

Generates business through proactive outreach to new customers.

Research, qualify, manage and track leads as well as related sales activities in Salesforce.

Identify customer needs and requirements, buyer identification knowledge.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree.

2 years of outbound B2B sales experience.

Self-Starter with ability to put together a plan, follow through on the plan and assess how to improve.

Prospecting and creating quality opportunities, using different platforms.

Superior organisational skills.
