Operations Supervisor – Gqeberha (Walmer)
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Operations Supervisor to join our Gqeberha (Walmer) branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and is ready to supervise a team and drive operational excellence.
Key focus areas:
Drive optimal use of our fleet, ensure the right vehicle mix, and minimize downtime.
Service & Maintenance Oversight
Proactively manage servicing schedules and reduce out-of-service periods.
Lead a high-performing team, plan rosters, manage overtime, and build leadership capacity.
Oversee branch facilities, ensure OHS compliance, and streamline yard operations to reduce risk.
Vehicle Quality & Internal Support
Deliver high-quality vehicles to branches, manage repairs proactively, and maintain strong inter-branch relationships.
Build supplier relationships, ensure timely payments, and reduce maintenance costs.
SAML Fleet Planning
Keep SAML well-stocked by pulling the right fleet at the right time and planning ahead.
Continuously track and reduce fleet-related risk.
What we’re looking for:
A strong leader with operational know-how, planning skills, labor law understanding, and a proactive mindset.
Salary: R15,000/month + performance incentives
