Railway Operations
Warehousing Facilities
Container packing Operations
Lime plant
General site activities
Updating of employee shift roster when required
Adjust daily operational planning schedule as is required by the clients
Attend daily operational meetings to plan for the following day Productivity
Ensure all work meets requirements, including deadlines
Maintain the orderly flow of operations on site Communicating with the workshop with regards to services, refueling and breakdowns of onsite machinery
Client liaison
Communicating with sub-contractors when needed
Attend to all queries from the client. Maintain a high level of client service
Management of Personnel
General management of operators and general workers, including applying the disciplinary code of the company
Provide work-orientated induction to new operators and general workers
Ensure that accurate attendance registers are provided to HR for payroll purposes Safety
Convening of daily toolbox talks with employees or when required by changes in working conditions
Ensuring all operator permits and medicals are valid
Ensuring that all employees have completed company inductions
Ensuring that all employees receive the necessary PPE for daily tasks
Completing incident and accident forms when necessary and handing a copy thereof to the safety department
Key Skills:
Ability to work without supervision,
Good communication and delegating skills,
Must be willing to work shifts, which includes weekends and public holidays,
Clean criminal record,

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years previous experience working as an operations supervisor
