SUMMARY:
A well-established healthcare distribution company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, fleet operations and national distribution activities from its Head Office in Cornubia, Durban.
This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient deliveries, operational compliance and excellent customer service across the supply chain.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Manage all warehouse operations, receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch. Oversee inventory control, stock integrity, cycle counts and variance investigations. Manage and reconcile consignment stock held at customer sites. Coordinate national collections, deliveries, couriers and third-party logistics providers. Coordinate international imports, exports and sea freight processes. Manage fleet performance, vehicle servicing, route optimisation and fuel usage. Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards and conduct POD audits. Lead, motivate and develop warehouse and operational staff. Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management (SCM) – Essential. Minimum 5-8 years' experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse or Operations Management. Minimum 3 years' experience managing a warehouse operation. Experience managing distribution, logistics and fleet operations. Experience coordinating international imports and exports. Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management. Experience working with ERP / Warehouse Management Systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Valid driver's licence and own vehicle. Experience in the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry will be advantageous. Consignment stock management experience will be advantageous.
