We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Factory Manager to oversee all operations of our manufacturing plant.
The Factory Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations, streamlining processes, reducing waste, and increasing productivity.
The ideal candidate should have significant experience in managing a manufacturing facility, understanding of lean manufacturing principles, excellent people management skills, and the ability to motivate employees.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and manage all business operations to achieve corporate goals.
Develop and implement business plan for profitability.
Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
Identify unsafe equipment and provide solutions to improve safety.
Ensure that the production is cost effective and efficiency is maintained.
Monitor production to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
Supervise, motivate, and support the production team.
Ensure all legal health and safety guidelines are followed.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Factory Manager or similar role.
Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning).
Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.

Strong leadership abilities to direct, motivate, and manage a diverse team of workers towards achieving production targets.
Excellent organizational skills to plan, prioritize, and coordinate production processes and maintain schedules.
Technical knowledge of machinery, assembly lines, and industrial processes to oversee the production operations effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and rectify any issues that may disrupt production efficiency and output.
Proficient in health and safety regulations to ensure the factory complies with all legal and company safety protocols.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with various departments, suppliers, and clients, as well as to address workers’ concerns and boost morale.
Financial and budgeting skills to monitor factory expenses, reduce costs and enhance profitability.
Quality control skills to ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards.
Technical skills to use factory management software and other relevant computer applications.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines while ensuring the efficient operation of the factory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R35Â 000,00 – R40Â 000,00 per month
