Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Open Shift Senior Engineer to lead and support enterprise-grade containerization, deployment automation, configuration management, and monitoring initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing on-premise Open Shift environments and a strong foundation in CI/CD tooling, configuration management, and container orchestration technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Open Shift & Containerization:
Install, configure, and manage Open Shift clusters (including OKD 3.11).
Perform upgrades and manage production and development environments.
Manage on-prem Git Lab repositories and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
Lead application deployments to Open Shift using Jenkins pipelines.
Migrate applications from Docker to ECS and other containerized environments.
Manage containerization strategies using Open Shift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
CI/CD & Automation:
Set up and maintain Jenkins pipelines for automated deployments.
Integrate Code Build, Ansible, and serverless tools for scalable deployment automation.
Configure and manage Sonar Qube for code quality analysis.
Configuration Management:
Utilize Ansible, Ansible Tower, and AWX for configuration and infrastructure automation.
Monitoring & Logging:
Implement and manage monitoring tools including:
Zabbix (with Telegram alerts)
Prometheus
New Relic (APM & Infrastructure)
ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Install and configure high-availability Elasticsearch clusters.
Deploy and manage Logstash and Kibana as containers on Open Shift.
System Administration:
Administer and manage Linux environments including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and CentOS.
Configure Active-Passive setups for high availability of Open Shift environments.
Ensure system reliability and performance optimization across platforms.
