We are seeking a highly organised and dependable On-Call Team Leader to join our Fulfilment division. This is a remote role based in South Africa. This key weekend role is responsible for leading and managing the on-call team, ensuring seamless fulfilment operations across the UK, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shift planning, oversight of operational performance, and ensuring continuity of service across all regions during weekend hours.
Key Respolsibilities:
Roster Management: Create and manage weekly on-call rosters to ensure full shift coverage across all fulfilment regions (UK, NI, ROI)
Team Leadership: Provide weekend leadership and guidance to the on-call associates. Ensure clear task delegation, performance oversight, and support with escalations
Fulfilment Oversight: Oversee and support shift fulfilment activities, ensuring all client requests, bookings, cancellations, and escalations are handled efficiently and professionally
Operational Support: Act as the main point of contact for fulfilment over the weekend, ensuring adherence to company SOPs and resolving any issues that arise in real-time
Communication & Handover: Complete thorough end-of-shift handovers, including written and verbal updates, to ensure continuity into weekday operations
Quality Assurance: Monitor accuracy and timeliness of fulfilment activities. Track key metrics and raise issues or opportunities for improvement to the Fulfilment Manager.
Requirements:
Proven experience in workforce coordination, operations, or fulfilment (preferably in healthcare or staffing)
Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Proficient in rostering systems and workforce management tools
Flexibility to work weekends and handle urgent tasks calmly and efficiently
