Role Overview:
We are looking for a Locum Occupational Health Nurse to provide occupational health services on a locum basis, both at our Kempton Park clinic and on a mobile basis at client sites. The successful candidate will work closely with the occupational health team to ensure employees receive safe, professional, and compliant medical surveillance and primary health care, whether in the clinic or on-site with clients, for the duration of the locum placement. Transport to and from client sites is provided by company drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical surveillance including pre-employment, periodic, and exit medicals both in clinic and on-site at client premises
- Perform spirometry, audiometry, and vision screening
- Maintain accurate medical records and reports
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Registered Occupational Health Nurse with valid, up-to-date SANC registration in the OHN category
- Relevant occupational health qualifications and certifications
- Available for locum work (short-term/relief basis)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office and clinic management systems)
- Travel to client sites for mobile occupational health work (transport provided by company drivers)
