Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Nurse in Locum positions with ILOVEBOOBIES ZA, based in the City of Cape Town. The role involves conducting health screenings, providing patient care, educating individuals about breast cancer awareness, and assisting with health campaigns. The Nurse will also ensure the proper documentation of medical information, maintain patient confidentiality, and support the overall mission of the organization. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to carry out community outreach and health education initiatives is a key responsibility.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills, including patient care and health screenings
- Knowledge of breast cancer awareness initiatives and healthcare education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse communities
- Organizational skills to handle medical documentation and maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic, community-based environments
- Valid nursing qualification, registration with an appropriate health authority or council
- Previous experience in community health or nonprofit work is an advantage
- A commitment to promoting health equity and supporting underserved populations
