Job Summary:
This position requires an energetic and proactive, task-focused, detail-oriented leader who can work at a predictable and constant pace in a structured environment to assist with the hotel operation at night.

Reporting to: Night Manager
Location: The Twelve Apostles Hotel Premises
Minimum Experience or
Qualification:
Grade 12 certificate;
Diploma in Hotel or Management advantageous
Must have at least 1 year of operational experience in a hotel
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with a Point of Sales System – exposure to Micros advantageous. Experience with a Property Management System – exposure to Opera advantageous. Highly presentable. Solid English verbal and written communication skills. Qualified First Aider. Able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Key Performance Objectives:
Take ownership, responsibility, and control of the entire hotel operation at night, ensuring all departments complete their duties and meet the night-time objectives.
Take responsibility and control of all night-time administrative duties, ensuring accuracy and precision in accordance with hotel SOP.
Take responsibility for the safety and security of the hotel, its staff, guests, and property by being visible and vigilant at all times.
Ensure that guests enjoy a welcoming and “Yes, I can” experience throughout their stay, in line with daytime service standards.
Ensure the hotel day team is fully informed of all relevant matters through the timely distribution of comprehensive and accurate information.
