Responsibilities
- Present news updates, interviews, and special reports clearly and engagingly.
- Research and prepare accurate news scripts.
- Record and deliver content optimized for digital and social media platforms.
- Collaborate virtually with the editorial team on coverage and story priorities.
- Stay updated on social media trends to adapt style and tone.
- Maintain journalistic ethics and accuracy standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a news anchor, journalist, or presenter (student media projects are acceptable).
- Strong on-camera presence and communication skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook).
- Access to equipment for recording (smartphone/DSLR, microphone, lighting).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree (or ongoing studies) in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt content tone for different social media audiences.
