Duties
& Key Performance Responsibilities:
Accountability for client growth and proactively increasing turnover through existing and new clients.
Achieving revenue targets by meeting sales goals, with targets varying as per business needs and management discretion.
Securing profitable new business.
Attending to potential clients across different areas.
Promptly addressing and resolving client queries.
Conducting site surveys for security requirements.
Designing and costing complete security solutions.
Preparing and presenting complex proposals.
Submitting quotations timely to clients.
Building and maintaining professional client relationships.
Planning, budgeting, and coordinating client requirements.
Assisting with marketing initiatives.
Compiling and submitting weekly and monthly management reports.
Gaining in-depth knowledge of trade and competitors.
Ensuring all contracts and quotations are accurately completed with necessary documentation.
Submitting paperwork promptly to allow sourcing non-standard stock items.
Selling only approved equipment per company policies.
Developing sales opportunities through cold calling and other methods.
Attending to potential clients in different areas.
Addressing client queries promptly and satisfactorily.
Conducting site surveys and preparing proposals for security needs.
Building and maintaining professional relationships.
Planning, budgeting, and coordinating client needs.
Supporting marketing efforts in the area.
Submitting management reports regularly.
Minimum Requirements:
Post-matric qualification or equivalent.
Senior sales experience in the security industry essential.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales in a similar role.
Sales diploma or equivalent qualifications.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work under pressure and extended hours if required.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel and own transport.
Previous experience in the security industry is advantageous.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
PSIRA Grade A certification (Company requirement).
Experience in sales, retail, or business development roles.
