AfriGIS seeks a dynamic and results-driven New Business Development Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills and a strong focus on achieving new business sales targets.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

5+ Years in sales in a solution-selling environment

Qualification in Business Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

Experience in selling to international markets preferred

Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends

Exceptional sales and customer relationship management skills with in-depth knowledge of the market, including extensive industry contacts at executive and senior management levels

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

Main Responsibilities

Seek out and initiate new business opportunities

Execute on incoming new business leads from receipt to deal closure

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders

Develop and implement new business development strategies

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape with the aim of collaborating with the marketing team on go to market strategies

Provide input from the industry/customer base on product roadmap/development requirements

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of new business development initiatives

Monitor and report on new business development activities and results

Consistently meet or exceed new business targets

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
