As a New Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, generating high-quality leads, understanding client requirements, and developing strong relationships with clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure the effective execution of new business strategies and contribute to achieving the company’s revenue targets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Selling solutions and services of the company.

Identifying market opportunities and developing sales leads.

Meeting set sales targets.

Sourcing supplier quotations and negotiating prices.

Preparing and sending customer quotations and following up with customers to close deals.

Developing, maintaining, and growing client base.

Finding new business opportunities and maintaining a healthy pipeline for future deals.

Responding to new and current clients’ compliments, complaints, and enquiries.

Being a brand ambassador that represents the company’s brand and values.

Conducting presentations to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of our products.

Establishing and maintaining healthy long-term relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business and referrals.

Tracking sales targets and documenting sales performance.

Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment, and the provision of services.

Using promotional methods such as phone calls, emails, social media, and events to reach potential clients and build a long-lasting business relationship with them.

Becoming an expert in the company’s product offerings and serving as a go-to source for clients who want more information concerning our products.

Completing product certifications where required.

Attending webinars, workshops, expos, and other relevant events to stay abreast of the evolving industry landscape and the market.

Desired

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years in IT sales experience.

Ability to negotiate sales deals, contracts, and service agreements.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Consent to background check (Identity, Qualification, Criminal, Fraud, and Employment References) because this is a position of trust.

Own reliable vehicle – Non-negotiable.

Remuneration: R15 000 – R17 000 + Comm
