Looking for a skilled Network Engineer with 5+ years of IT experience to join a
dynamic
team in Swellendam. Must have CompTIA Certifications and strong knowledge in VMware, Networking, and Cybersecurity. Qualification and Experience Relevant degree, diploma, certifications in IT or studying towards CompTIA Certifications (A+, N+, Security+ or Equivalent) 5+ years IT related work experience Valid driver’s license Advantageous:
Mikro Tik Certifications (MTCNA & MTCRE), Sonic Wall Certifications Key Performance Areas:
Design, Deployment, Maintenance,
Optimization
of:
End user Computer Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, Cybersecurity Setting up and keeping documentation up to date for all of the above Form part of Incident Response efforts Support:
Providing support to users and being the escalation point Monitor and manage new and reopened tickets Provide accurate high-level support towards end-users regarding their IT related issues and provide accurate and timely feedback (Level 2
– 3) Follow-up with the end-user to ensure that the issue is resolved Aid fellow team members where necessary Knowledge: VMware Microsoft Active Directory & Entra  (Routing, Switching, Firewall, SDWAN, VPN) Server hardware systems Storage hardware systems Server operating systems and software applications CCTV VoIP systems
