Job Description – IM L2 Network Administrator
Job Summar
yWe are seeking an experienced IM L2 Network Administrator to provide Operational Technology (OT) Network Administration and Support across client sites. The candidate will be responsible for network operations, incident management, change management, problem management, network security, infrastructure support, and service delivery in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
.The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in enterprise network environments, Cisco technologies, wireless networking, routing and switching, network security, and troubleshooting within Industrial IT/Operational Technology environments
.Key Responsibilitie
sNetwork Operations & Suppor
- tOwn and manage OT Network Operations, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management
- .Ensure delivery of network support services according to agreed SLAs
- .Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related incidents
- .Maximize network availability through proactive monitoring and fault-tolerant configurations
- .Perform network installations, upgrades, maintenance, and recovery activities
.Network Administratio
- nManage LAN, WLAN, Cisco, Rajant, Security, and Network Support environments
- .Configure and administer enterprise network infrastructure
- .Manage access controls, security permissions, and compliance requirements
- .Support disaster recovery activities and network resilience initiatives
- .Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures
.Service Delivery & Stakeholder Managemen
- tAct as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for network-related support
- .Collaborate with customers, vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders
- .Participate in operational, governance, and service review meetings
- .Provide regular updates, reports, and technical recommendations
.Project & Improvement Initiative
- sContribute to network design, implementation, and optimization projects
- .Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents
- .Identify and implement automation opportunities
- .Drive continuous service improvements through trend analysis and proactive monitoring
.Security & Complianc
- eImplement and maintain network security measures
- .Support firewall, Cisco ISE, and access management solutions
- .Ensure compliance with HCL policies, procedures, governance, and ITIL practices
