Position: .NET Developer (Security Analysis)

Responsibilities:
Assist with Development of new processes and applications as needed
Development using C# and Microsoft .NET Core and various system APIs
Perform unit tests
Participate in analysis, design, and coordination with other team members
Create bug reports
Utilize .Net C# to build and maintain backend system components
Security Analysis:
Monitor network traffic
Implementpreventionsystems
Investigate unusual network activities
Conduct penetration testing
Respond to security incidents
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Experience with MVC architecture, Entity Framework (EF Core)
Experience with MySQL
Experience with Frontend and Cross Platform Frameworks (Angular, MAUI preferred)
2-3 years working experience with C#, ASP.Net, MySQL, SQL, REST APIs, HTML, JS, TS
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, or IT Engineering
General knowledge of cyber security
Understanding of networks, systems, and software
Problem-solvingandanalytical skills
Scripting
Awareness of controls and frameworks best practices
Stay updated on the latest security trends
Understand cyber-attacks & detection mechanisms
Monitor security alerts on the SIEM/XDR security tool
Perform analysis through enrichment & triage of alerts/threats detected
Manage tickets based on threats detected in the environment
Basic knowledge of networks
Basic knowledge of security & response
Knowledge of IS vulnerability management
Hold certifications such as CESA, Security+, CCNA
General Requirements:
Based in Cape Town – Northern Suburbs
Meticulous recording of information, filing, and paperwork
