What You’ll Do
As a Personal Care Attendant, you’ll help Vermont seniors and adults with disabilities live safely and with dignity in the home they love. Duties include:
- Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying
- Meal preparation and help with eating
- Medication reminders (non-medical)
- Companionship, conversation, and emotional presence
- Errands, grocery shopping, and appointment escort
- Documentation of visits through our electronic visit verification (EVV) system
This is non-medical personal care. You will not be administering medications or performing clinical tasks.
What We’re Looking For
- A heart for serving elders and adults with disabilities
- Dependability — clients count on you being there
- Compassion, patience, and respect for the dignity of every person
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance (strongly preferred)
- Prior caregiving experience is welcomed but not required — we train you, paid, from day one
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
